Mellodollz Ragdolls  is a very small home based cattery, located in a Suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, we are near a park, with a walking trail, at the edge of farming properties and the Adelaide hills. We guarantee we have the
cuddliest, floppiest and sweetest ragdolls around! Our ragdolls can be cradled, baby-like!
Ragdolls, are guaranteed, to help people suffering anxiety, loneliness, stress, adults and children with special needs.

Psychological studies have shown that cat owners are more logical and practical than dog owners.

Cats are good for our health, by lowering our risk of cardiac vascular disease, than non-cat owners. Elderly cat owners suffer less from depression and loneliness than do non-cat owners. 

Mellodollz, being a small cattery, we are therefore, able to give each and everyone, of our ragdolls, all of the love, time and affection, they deserve and need. Also, socializing with other pets, playing together, in a loving environment. We also, work closely with our vet to ensure, that our breeders are in peak condition and health.
I love the Ragdoll breed of cat, and those big, beautiful, blue eyes got me in, and  I just had to have one of my own....but, .. these sweet tempered cats, are so addictive,  I just couldn't stop at one ... and...I still can't keep my paws off of them,  it's the best hobby.
We are registered with the GCCFSA and AICC.

Although, known for their beauty, we also emphasize on producing sweet tempered and healthy kittens.
Our Queens, are at peak condition and health, when their babies are born. The kittens are born and raised in our loving home, and are available for adoption from 12 - 14 weeks of age, depending on the maturity of the individual kitten.
 They will be vet checked and DESEXED before leaving our home, microchipped and ear marked, vaccinated twice, with F3, ( covering - Feline Enteritis, - Rhinotracheitis, [this is a herpes virus which causes inflammation of the nose and windpipe], - Calicivirus.  Litter box trained, regularly wormed, flea and ear mite treated with Revolution, and registered with the GCCFSA or AICC. They will also, come with a extensive kitten gift pack, containing food samples, Royal canin sachets and Royal canin 2kg of kibble, a food voucher, litter sample, toys, information, ( for interstate clients we cannot add, the kitten gift pack) their own health record book and spoilt and very loved.

Ragdolls are not an outside cat, as they have no defence instincts and will be put in danger, of being seriously hurt, or because, they are such a friendly and loving cat, they could easily be stolen. A suitable outdoor enclosure is safe, but never allowed to roam freely outdoors.

To keep their coat smooth and matt free, I use a slicker brush daily. This also, prevents furballs, which is not good for the health of felines.

We feed our Cattery, on a super premium quality diet, to give our babies, ultimate health, growth and development. We work closely with our vet, to ensure both breeding cats and our babies are at their maximum health. Our breeders are HCM and PKD test clear, and HIV clear.

We use Kitter litter and use the litter in conjunction with the kitter litter or Ozpet litter trays, this is the most effective litter in odour control and value for money. Other litters recommended is Breeders choice or Ozpet, if you do not wish to use either if these litters. DO NOT use any of the clay or clumping litters, while your kitten is young, they tend to eat the litter, this could cause a blockage internally, which could be fatally harmful to your new baby.

Please Note: Due to recent events, we have had to make some big decisions and extensive changes. We will be operating as a closed cattery, for the future, no exceptions. A lot of time and money has gone into ensuring we have healthy cats and kittens.

 It is unlawful to carry a pet unrestained, not to mention dangerous.

Please do not bring a cardboard box (vet ones included), as the kittens will fall through and/or escape.
